WBGG PTA Updates

A huge THANK YOU to all those who so generously sponsored our HOLIDAY HELPERS initiative this year!!! We supported 96 families and reached 103% of our goal! Thank you to parents, staff, d34 administrators and community members for your contributions to make this Holiday Season a happy one for all Westbrook and Glen Grove families!!! A big thank you to the WB/GG Holiday Helpers team: Nadia Adam, Tannya Nistor and Michelle Behm Popoutsis! Thank you to our principals, Dr. Kate Ellison and Patrick Hoeft for their continued support and time on this project. Our immense success in raising over $10,000 in just 18 days, would not have been possible without you!

Our spirit wear team designed new, fun options for this Holiday and winter season! You may order spirit wear anytime and have it delivered to the school (purchases will be sent home with your student). If you would like to have items before winter break (delivery by 12/20), please be sure to place your order on or before this FRIDAY 12/6. Happy shopping and THANK YOU for supporting our PTA!!

Join the organization supporting our children and our schools. There is still time to join! Your individual membership gives you a voice and a vote in our organization. Membership is open to anyone including parents, family members, teachers, staff and community members. Meetings are not mandatory but we welcome anyone to join! Come and hear the latest news from our principals, upcoming events, initiatives and much more! Our children are our future. Your support matters!

There is still time to add to our class funds! Class funds are mainly used to sponsor our 3 class parties per year. PTA uses the class funds to purchase party supplies and snacks for each party. The suggested amount is $20 per child. Thank you in advance for your support!!!

The sign up for winter parties will open for all parents on Wednesday 12/4 at 7pm. Please visit our WBGG PTA Website for the link as well as our social media. Please note: if you attended the Halloween party, kindly give other parents a chance to sign up first. If after a couple days no one has signed up, the spots are then open for anyone to attend. Room Reps are able to attend all parties but must sign up during the designated time period. If a Room Rep does not sign up for a party during the designated window (now), it is assumed they are unable to attend and their spot will be open to other parents on Wednesday at 7pm.
