Each newsletter we will be choosing a department to put the "Spotlight" on. This newsletter we have chosen our Main Office Staff. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for our incredible administrative assistants and attendance clerk, Jessica Green, Roseann Schulenberg, Maggie Ryan, Shanna Wimble, Nanci Swalm, Cindy Bonvissuto and Brittany Mackinnon . Their dedication and efficiency make a significant difference in our daily operations. From managing schedules to ensuring accurate attendance records, pretty much running the entire school their hard work does not go unnoticed. They consistently go above and beyond, demonstrating exceptional professionalism and a positive attitude that inspires us all. If you see them when you come into our building please consider thanking them for creating such a welcoming environment for everyone. We truly appreciate everything they do!

Congratulations to Henry, Carter, Landon, Charles and Kanaya for participating in the 7/8 Band Area All State.

To ensure the safety of our students and staff, we conduct regular safety drills. Next week we will be carrying out our last lockdown drill of 2024. These drills are a key part of our safety procedures and help everyone be prepared in case of an emergency.

Intramurals: students recreationally compete against their peers in the Heim Middle Gym.

Before School Session: 8:00 AM-8:45 AM

After School Session: 3:45-4:30 PM

You are responsible for your child’s transportation.

The schedule for all intramurals this year will be posted on the Heim Middle Club Calendar located on the WITS Homepage or at this link. Please only send your child for the appropriate sessions based on grade level/activity. Please note when it says “choice,” we will offer a variety of sports and the students will vote on which activity we will do.

For your child to be able to participate, please click this link to fill out the permission slip. It is valid for the whole school year. If you have multiple children at Heim Middle, please fill one out for each student.
